The 34-year-old actress is "thrilled" to be expecting her first child with hubby Hayes MacArthur this winter, Larter's rep confirmed. Larter is best known for her role as Tracy Strauss in the NBC’s drama series Heroes. She was discovered at the age of 13 in Cherry Hills New Jersey. Prior to finishing high school, she signed a modeling contract. After Larter got to know Amy Smart, model and actress who became her new best friend, Smart encouraged Larter to pursue acting.
